The next Pokémon TCG set, Astral Crown , has been officially revealed by the Pokémon Company and will launch globally on September 13, 2024. This new expansion focuses on the unique potential of the phenomenon Teracristal . The protagonists of the expansion include Terapagos, Cinderace ex, Lapras ex, and Galvantula ex, who will show off brilliant new powers as Stellar Tera-type Pokémon ex. Furthermore, Astral Crown will introduce new Pokémon ex cards, such as the highly anticipated Hydrapple ex. Below you will find all the current information regarding this exciting expansion.
The official announcement from the Pokémon Company revealed some salient details about the upcoming Astral Crown expansion:
- Over 170 cards
- More than a dozen new Pokémon exes
- New ACE SPEC cards
- More than 20 Trainer cards
- More than 30 Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations
This will be the seventh TCG expansion in the Scarlet and Violet era and is based on the Japanese Stellar Miracle set, which will be released in Japan on July 19, 2024. The cards debut Pokémon-ex Teracristal Astrali promises to significantly influence the current meta, thanks to their unique attacks that require three different types of Energy to use.
